HopeTree was born out of a combination of how expensive childcare is in the UK and a need for UK based children to develop experiences, knowledge, and skills in Science and Technology (STEM spaces) in order to be able to have a good life in an increasingly technological world.

At HopeTree we provide a monthly STEM themed subscription box of children's toys, games, and activities designed to build children's experience, knowledge, and skills in STEM areas whilst importantly having fun! The theme is different each month for example Artificial Intelligence, the Solar System, and Sustainability being only some of the themes. The idea is for our box to replace other toy and learning purchases to help you keep your child stimulated at home whilst supporting their future.

We're a small UK business founded by Duncan Munro who has a background in Learning & Development and Human Resources in the technology sector most recently GitHub (a Microsoft Company). To create our product we've had vital contributions from parents and teachers who also between them have experience in technology, science, engineering in their careers and teachers from secondary and primary education.
